Alexander Byrne Sidhu & Partners SA, trading as “ASB&P”, “ABS&P International Law Firm”, was established in 2021 in Costa Rica as an international law firm for the purpose of serving those in need in jurisdictions worldwide.
Since then, ABS&P has rapidly grown under the leadership of its President and Managing Partner, Dr Andre Alexander, to be one of Central America's fastest-growing full-service international law firms, ABS&P is dedicated to serving the international community by delivering world class services 24 /7. It has offices in Costa Rica, UK and Mexico.

Regulation & Corporate Structure
Alexander Byrne Sidhu & Partners SA is a corporation duly registered in the National Registry of Costa Rica, Number: 3-101-814796 for providing legal and allied business services. It is regulated under the Commercial Code of Costa Rica. It is also registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority of England & Wales under ID Nr.: 8010339 as a non-regulated law firm not subject to SRA regulation. All its lawyers are authorised to practice in the jurisdictions they serve, and all its non-lawyers are supervised by lawyers. ABS&P’s legal services division's operational structure follows the model of an English Barristers' set whereby its lawyers operate as independents within a collegiate hybrid (onsite /remote working) setting. By a shareholders' resolution of the 23rd September 2023, ABS&P, structured as a "not-for-profit" corporation meaning that, from that date, its revenues shall be applied exclusively for the benefit of its objects and members.

Our deliverables' quality is enhanced by the obligation of our people /members to subscribe to our Rules of Professional Conduct & Ethics unless excepted by the rules of any relevant bar association, or court. All non-lawyers at ABS&P are supervised by lawyers.
ICDRO - International Court of Dispute Resolution Online ICDRO is a quasi-autonomous division of ABS& P. It acts as a private ADR court which focuses on ADR policy advisory, nominations and Early Neutral Evaluations.
Chairman & Managing Partner
Dr. Andre Alexander, Barrister & Solicitor, Founding Partner, Chairman, and Managing Partner of ABS&P, has over 15 years of experience as an international lawyer.
Prior to his admission in Fiji as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court, he trained as a barrister in England.
He is a former member of the German Federal Bar and the Dutch-Brussels Bar and is recognised as a foreign lawyer in Costa Rica. He is currently authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority to practice in England and Wales.
Since 2023, Andre has been a consulting expert at the legal information site, JustAnswer (UK’s Legal Division), where he has achieved a satisfaction rating of more than 94% up to now representing more than 964 successful engagements.
Practicing across multiple jurisdictions, he works either pro hac vice or as an authorized foreign lawyer. In recognition of his expertise in medical law, Dr. Alexander was readmitted as a Fellow Member of the Royal Society of Medicine in August 2024.

ABS&P's services are supported by a wide network of consultant associate lawyers and technical experts who are among the best in their fields. ABS&P's lawyers subscribe to its Rules of Professional Conduct & Ethics unless excepted by their bar association, or any relevant court.
Pro bono & Access to Justice Fund
Our pro bono deliverables are supported by our Access to Justice Fund. The programs enable us to provide our services free or at reduced costs in certain circumstances and also to give grants for worthy causes.
Our international presence is enhanced by representative offices in the UK (London & Belfast) and Mexico which support our Head Office operations in Costa Rica.
