Dr. Andre Alexander, Barrister & Solicitor

Andre is the Chairman, Managing Partner and founder of ABS&P International Law Firm. He is also the founder and Chief Registrar of ABS&P’s Division, ICDRO - International Court of Dispute Resolution ONLINE.

He is an experienced English common law barrister and solicitor practicing internationally and is registered with the Solicitors Regulatory Authority as a foreign lawyer to practice law in England and Wales. He is also a member of the Law Society of England & Wales as well as the British & Irish Commercial Bar Association.

Prior to his admission as a Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of Fiji, a jurisdiction modelled closely on the English legal system, Andre trained as an English barrister in London, England.

His international credentials extend to his recognition as a foreign lawyer at the Bar of Costa Rica and his former memberships in good standing of the Federal Bar of Germany (Brandenburg) and the Order of the Dutch-Brussels Bar.

Academic Qualifications

Andre’s academic qualifications include:

  • Common Professional Examination for Lawyers, Northumbria University.

  • Professional LLB, Northumbria University.

  • MA, Organisational Psychology, Lancaster University.

  • Professional Diploma in Legal Practice, University of the South Pacific.

  • Doctor of Juridical Science (“SJD”) in comparative Slovak and English law from NWCUSL, a California State Bar-Accredited Law School.

Accolades and Recognition

  • In 2020, Andre was honored by Diligent in its Modern Corporate Governance General Counsel Category and, served as a judge at the UK National Mediation Awards. In that year as well, he was nominated for the award of King’s Counsel (Hon.) by a Chief Justice (which nomination he subsequently declined) for his contributions to the international legal community.

  • In 2021 (readmitted in 2024), he was admitted a Fellow Member of the Royal Society of Medicine in recognition of his qualifications in behavioral science and medical law. The Royal Society of Medicine is a leading UK learned society for continuing learning for healthcare professionals.
